We are now accepting applications for our Summer Fashion Photography Internship Program!
What is it?
Our summer internship is meant for photographers of all ages, styles, and backgrounds who want to break into Fashion Photography. The world of fashion has a very specific style, but at the same time, it's constantly changing. Being creative, passionate, and flexible are key components of a successful fashion photographer. Our internship provides insider knowledge of the fashion world to help launch your career.
Who should apply?
We are looking for passionate photographers who want to break into the world of fashion photography! Applicants should be interested in fashion, the fashion industry, and especially expanding their photography knowledge. See below for requirements.
What are the requirements to apply?
Be within the local Omaha area (within 1 hour)
Have an established portfolio (can be lifestyle, street, etc.)
Be available every Friday afternoon in in-person between 2 pm - 5 pm
Provide your own equipment (camera, specialty lighting, specialty props)
Specialty lighting and props are optional
Have an active Instagram account and Facebook (a personal account is fine)
Be interested in Fashion and the Fashion Industry!
What do the interns get out of it?
The program is designed to allow for creative freedom and a flexible schedule while building your portfolio, growing your skills, and creating connections within the fashion world.
Photographers that are selected can expect:
Personal 1-on-1 time with industry professionals
Experience working and communicating with professional models
Knowledge of creative direction while onset (posing models, using props, etc.)
Growth of their brand
Expansion of their portfolio
Professional feedback and reviews
A possible contract with Develop Model Management
Photographer Expectations During the Program:
Be available every Friday afternoon in in-person between 2 pm - 5 pm May 6, 2022 - July 29, 2022
Produce at least five edited images for review each week
Have a working knowledge of their own equipment and basic lighting setups
Be able to provide helpful feedback to other photographers
Be able to use Pixieset
Follow provided photo prompts and directions each week
Maintain a presence on their social media
Be respectful and kind to all agents and models of Develop
Stay in communication with the agency
